I’ll be doing a lot of packing in the next few days. This weekend I pack for a visit to Huslia. I’ll be sure to include Confirmation Crosses in my bag as there are candidates prepared and ready to affirm the promises made on their behalf at baptism and are ready to accept ministry leadership in their community.
I do love Confirmation. And I look forward to being in Huslia and Good Shepherd Church.
God willing and Wright Air consenting, I return to Fairbanks on Monday to pack for the journey to Anchorage for Diocesan Convention. I will be driving down to Anchorage with a vehicle full of all the materials your Diocesan office has been preparing in support of Convention. I’m hopiing for lovely weather–a break from the rain that has been falling in Fairbanks for what seems to have been the entire month of September.
I am grateful to All Saints’ in Anchorage for their hospitality and for all that the South Central Deanery has done to support our Convention.
Where have you experienced the presence of the living God in your life? How have you experienced God’s transcendence–the mystery of God?
