Preparing for Natural Disasters
In the U.S. as well as internationally, natural disasters are becoming more severe. Communities, especially those that are marginalized or impoverished, face significant barriers to recovery.
The Episcopal Diocese recommends that communities prepare for natural disasters such as earthquakes, flooding, and forest fires by enacting a disaster preparedness manual.
Copies of your completed parish plan should be sent to the Episcopal Diocesan office at 1205 Denali Way, Fairbanks, Alaska 99701.
