Diocese of Alaska’s on-line Safe Church Training Program

The Baptismal Covenant calls us to seek and serve Christ in all people and to respect the dignity of every human being. As Christians we have a sacred responsibility and trust to care for and protect all of God’s children, young and old, from abuse or harm. The Diocese of Alaska strictly prohibits sexual abuse, sexual harassment and exploitation of people of any age.

The Safe Church program is designed to communicate information that will help you and your community to maintain an environment and best practices for preventing abuse. I hope the on-line training modules will facilitate safe church training in all parishes; however, instructor led training modules for groups will continue to be offered. Thank you for honoring the sacred trust that is ours in Christ.

2. Click on the link at the bottom of the page.
3. Enter your login and password. (The login and password you created during self-enrollment.)
4. Click on the title of the course you want to view.
5. Once the course starts, click the orange buttons or arrows to advance the frames.
